ABOUT
Dawn holds a Master’s in Creative Writing from New College of California and is passionate about creativity and ideas.
She is a freelancer living in southern California, currently working on essays, a novel, and oral history projects. She previously taught single-subject English in high school. Dawn collaborated with production and marketing teams within editorial for Higher Education publishing at McGraw-Hill. Additionally, she produced teacher videos, interviewed, and helped teachers collaborate together and with other stakeholders at Pearson Foundation. She managed marketing communications collateral at Hewlett-Packard/Agilent and volunteered within community development and computer training in Peace Corps (Cape Verde).
Born and raised in California, she studied in both northern and southern California. She loves books, hiking, and traveling both near and far.
